Marc Evan Diaz is an artist, activist, educator, producer, and co-founder of Diaz and Friends Productions. Based in Brooklyn, Marc has worked released two solo EP's: "the STRONGER ep" in Summer 2015, and most recently, "Crisis: Songs of Freedom Vol. 1," in December 2016. "Crisis" presents Marc as an activist artist, shedding light, perspective, healing, and truth on some of the darkest national tragedies that have happened in and around the US in the past recent years. Marc donated all proceeds from Crisis, to different civil liberty charities, both in the US, and abroad.
Marc is also an experienced producer. Over the course of 2016-2017, Marc has released 6 children's albums in conjunction with Montessori Music Lab and Rock and Roll Daycare (based in Boston, MA). The Heritage Songbook Collection are 6 projects, each representing a different country, and different traditional children songs, and instruments from each of those countries. These projects helped Rock and Roll daycare when "The Best of Boston" award in 2017. Marc also worked with producer Amos Ang, and artist Kaye Marie, to release "Sill Married EP" in Spring 2017. Marc will be touring with Kaye Marie in 2017.
In addition, Marc is a highly acclaimed educator of all ages, with experience working with students from toddler ages, to workshops with adults. His passion as an Artist Activist extends to teaching, as his preference is to work with students in economically disadvantaged areas, helping them to find their voice through the study of music history, songwriting, and protest.
